Terms & Conditions

A $75 booking deposit is collected online to reserve your dates. This amount is applied toward your rental or service total. Your booking is reserved once the deposit is received and is confirmed once we complete our internal operational checks and send your confirmation and pickup details.

The remaining balance is due at pickup, delivery or on the service date unless we agree otherwise in writing.

A refundable equipment deposit is collected separately at pickup: $300 for a Starlink rental and $550 for a Starlink rental with the power station add-on. It is not part of the advertised rental total, is not revenue, and is returned after the equipment is returned complete, undamaged and in working condition.

Rental pricing uses inclusive calendar days: the pickup date and the return date both count. Late returns may incur additional calendar-day charges at the published rate.

• Use the equipment lawfully and per the instructions provided at pickup.
• You are responsible for loss, theft or damage while the equipment is in your care, up to the replacement cost.
• Do not modify, open, resell or sub-rent the equipment.
• Return all cables, mounts, cases and accessories supplied.

Satellite internet performance depends on your location, sky visibility, weather, network conditions and the service provider's own terms. We cannot guarantee any specific speed, coverage or uninterrupted service, and we are not responsible for service provider outages or data policy changes.

Drone services are subject to weather, airspace, site conditions, safety and applicable Canadian aviation requirements. We only perform operations permitted under our current Transport Canada operating privileges. We cannot promise that a particular location, altitude or time can be flown. If a flight cannot safely or legally proceed we will reschedule or agree another resolution with you.

Cancellations, changes and store credit are covered by our Cancellation & Store Credit Policy.

Applicable taxes are shown on your invoice where they apply. Refundable equipment deposits are not taxed as rental revenue.

To the extent permitted by law, The Remote Camper is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost income, missed deadlines or travel costs, arising from equipment failure, connectivity limitations or a flight that cannot proceed. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected booking.
